Where can I find more information about REMIT transaction reporting?

What actually is an RRM service?

The REMIT Regulation sets binding requirements for the reporting period, file format, documentation and also transmitters. Trading transactions may not be submitted directly to ACER, but only through selected service providers certified by ACER. These are the so-called Registered Reporting Mechanisms ( RRM ).

My OTC trades are not in Acer’s specified format. Can I still use the RRM service?

If your trades are not in the specified format of ACER, then you can add the REMIT Comfort Option. This service takes your CSV or XML files and converts them to ACER-compliant XML format. For this purpose, you can provide us with the data in a monitored directory, upload it manually or enter it via a web form. We will be happy to provide you with further information – just contact us.

Can I also report OTC trades to Elcom (Swiss Federal Electricity Commission)?

You can also report OTC trades to the Swiss Federal Electricity Commission via the REMIT RRM Service if you are required to do so as a market participant. Just contact us.

Can I also report insider information according to REMIT Art. 4 with the REMIT RRM Service?

REMIT Art. 4 is not covered by the REMIT RRM Service. You can publish REMIT insider information efficiently and effectively via the EEX transparency platform, among others.
